This design was inspired by the living, apart red lining exhibit focused on housing discrimination and environmental injustice. The exhibit was featured at Norfolk State University. The materials used for this design included a Upcyclm denim T-shirt material and the world map material. It was purposely sewn with the red thread, exposed to indicate the red lining, and the top has an opening on one of the shoulders to represent the absence of resources in urban communities.
